Manchester Digital Marketing
We work in Manchester from London, and we would rather say so up front than imply an office on Deansgate that does not exist.
What you can expect
Delivered remotely from our London studio
Written work you can check, not status calls
One Manchester town page, because one is what we can defend
Manchester
Start with the honest part. We are a London studio and Manchester work is delivered remotely — calls, shared documents, and a written record of what changed and why. That rules some things out. We are not going to walk into your premises to take photographs for a Google Business Profile, and we are not the right choice if you want somebody physically in the room every fortnight. It rules less out than people assume: technical audits, keyword strategy, page building, profile work, campaign management and reporting are all done at a screen wherever the screen happens to be.
The local complication worth knowing is administrative. Greater Manchester is ten separate councils — Bolton, Bury, Manchester, Oldham, Rochdale, Salford, Stockport, Tameside, Trafford and Wigan — and the city council area itself holds only about 550,000 of the region's people. Businesses in Sale, Altrincham, Stockport or Bury describe themselves as Manchester because that is the name customers recognise, while sitting in an entirely different authority. Search results reflect the confusion: the city term is contested by the whole region, and the borough terms are quieter than their populations suggest because half the people in them do not use the name.
The practical answer is the same one we would give anywhere, applied to a bigger spread: decide per keyword whether you are realistically competing for the city term or a named town, and be accurate about it in the profile. Salford is the one Manchester-area town we have written a full page for. There is no page for Stockport or Trafford because we have nothing specific to say about them yet, and inventing it would be obvious to anybody who trades there.

FAQ
For most of the work, no — audits, keyword strategy, page building and campaign management happen in the same tools regardless of postcode. Where it does matter is anything needing a physical presence: photography, in-person events, meeting your customers. We are straight about which parts of a plan fall into that category before you sign anything, and those parts stay with you or a local supplier.
Partly. The city name is what customers recognise and search, so ignoring it costs you visibility — but a profile claiming Manchester while you sit in Altrincham ranks convincingly for neither. The usual answer is to be accurate about the base, name the town you are actually in, and target the city term through content strength rather than by pretending about the address.
Only when there is something to put on them. Salford has a page because its search behaviour is genuinely distinctive and we can describe it. Filling in the other nine boroughs would take an afternoon and would be worth nothing to a reader in any of them.
