Scope & working terms

Small Business Package Scope & Progress Terms

Updated: 5 November 2026. These terms explain the Small Business Growth Package. Your written engagement agreement records the specific website, monthly workload, hosting plan and milestone schedule before work starts.

Price and minimum term

The package is £199 per month, with no setup fee and a six-month minimum term. The minimum subscription total is £1,194. Billing dates, notice, any continuation after the minimum term and early termination arrangements are documented in your engagement agreement before you sign. No particular search or commercial result is promised within six months.

Website and hosting scope

The standard package is a responsive small-business brochure website with clear navigation and enquiry routes. The proposal defines pages, functionality, content responsibilities, review rounds and acceptance criteria. Development dates depend on that scope and your content and approvals; no fixed page count, deadline or unlimited revision service is advertised.

Hosting is included during the subscription through an account in your business’s name. The proposal identifies the included hosting plan and capacity. You grant the access needed to manage the website. Domain renewals, third-party licences, provider upgrades and work outside the agreed scope are itemised and require your approval. No unlimited storage, backup schedule or uptime guarantee is offered by this package.

Monthly SEO and reporting

We establish the starting position and agree a focused monthly task plan for the website and eligible Google Business Profile. Activities include reviewing on-page priorities, checking technical health, implementing agreed improvements within scope, checking profile information and monitoring available search performance data. The plan records the monthly workload so priorities can be delivered at a sustainable pace.

A monthly progress summary records work completed, outstanding dependencies, available indicators and the next priorities. Indicators can include Search Console impressions and clicks, organic sessions and recorded enquiries where the necessary tools, access and consent are available. Missing or limited data is identified; enquiries are not assumed to be qualified leads or sales.

Large content programmes, paid advertising, ecommerce, custom applications and extensive technical development require a separate scope and price. This package does not include the full workload of a broader standalone SEO engagement.

Accounts, ownership and cancellation

Your domain and hosting accounts stay in your business’s name. On cancellation after completing the six-month minimum term and paying the agreed fees, the website belongs to you. Third-party assets and software remain subject to their identified licences. Handover and access arrangements are documented in your agreement.

When the service ends, ongoing SEO stops and you become responsible for continuing hosting, domain, licence and other provider costs. The subscription does not create a promise of free hosting after cancellation. Notice and early termination provisions must be confirmed in the written agreement before you commit.

Our 90-day SEO progress commitment

Real Work. Measurable Progress. Transparent Reporting.

The commitment covers delivery of the agreed SEO work during the first 90 days of SEO activity. We record the baseline and start date in the written milestone schedule once the required access, initial content and approvals are available. Each milestone identifies the deliverable, completion evidence, due date and dependencies. Both parties agree the schedule before SEO activity begins.

Monthly progress updates distinguish completed tasks from search-engine performance. Search engines control their results; rankings, traffic, customers, leads and sales are not guaranteed. Lower traffic or rankings alone do not establish a missed delivery milestone.

Your responsibilities and delays

You provide accurate business details, account access, agreed content and timely approvals. We record dependencies and notify you when missing information or approvals affect delivery. Revised dates must be agreed and documented; we do not silently treat incomplete work as completed. Customer delays, Google verification delays or platform outages are assessed against the recorded dependencies when reviewing delivery.

Reviewing a missed milestone

Raise a concern using the contact details below or in a progress review. We compare the milestone schedule, delivery evidence, dependency record and any agreed date changes with you, and record the finding in writing. If work remains disputed, we discuss the evidence and the disputed items before agreeing a corrective plan. A task is assessed by its agreed completion evidence, not by a particular ranking change.

Corrective SEO work and its limit

If we fail to complete the agreed SEO milestones, we’ll provide additional corrective SEO work at no extra charge, subject to these terms and the agreed milestone schedule.

The remedy is up to one additional month of corrective SEO work, capped at the monthly SEO workload in your written plan and focused on the missed milestones from the first 90 days. It is one corrective allowance for that initial period, not an allowance that renews each month. It does not extend the paid minimum term.

We document the missed work, agree a corrective task list and timetable with you, complete it within that allowance and provide a completion update. The remedy covers corrective SEO delivery; it does not promise a refund, free hosting beyond the subscription, a website rebuild or unlimited additional services. Any further paid work needs a separate agreement. Nothing here limits rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.

The engagement agreement must record the customer-specific scope and operational arrangements. Our Terms of Use cover use of this website and are separate from the engagement agreement. Sending an enquiry does not form a service contract.
